HONORING A LOCAL HERO: DONNA’S STORY
Donna Frye, a beloved member of our community, has dedicated her life to serving others. A retired teacher with 36 years of service, Donna is also a two-time cancer survivor and an advocate for animal welfare. Through her work with Bassett Rescue, she has saved over 1,100 dogs, embodying the spirit of selflessness and dedication that defines true community service. When her air conditioning unit went out during the hottest part of the summer, Dehart and Lennox recognized Donna’s contributions and chose her as a recipient for the Feel the Love program. This initiative provides HVAC services to individuals who have made a significant impact on their communities, ensuring they feel appreciated and supported.
