A FAMILY-OWNED HVAC COMPANY WITH 100 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
DeHart was founded in 1920 in Chickasha, OK, by Ed DeHart. In the early years of the company, which was first called DeHart Sheet Metal Works, DeHart was the first automated sheet metal fabrication shop in the Southwestern United States.
Ed’s son Elmer joined his father’s business in 1949, which was renamed DeHart Air Conditioning and Electronics to focus on the HVAC industry. In 1965, a new building for the company was built, which has remained as DeHart’s Chickasha location ever since. Elmer’s son Mark joined the family business in 1976, and expanded the company into the commercial and geothermal markets. Today, Mark’s sons, Seth and John, are co-owners, and have grown the company to include a second location in Duncan, OK.
