The Federal Geothermal Tax Credit is Back!

If you’re installing a geothermal heat pump system, remember that the federal tax credit is back. Through January 1, 2022, you’ll be able to receive a tax credit for 30% of the entire cost of your geothermal installation!

OG&E Geothermal Rebate

As an Oklahoma Gas & Electric customer, you are eligible for generous rebates on geothermal systems. Whether it’s a new geothermal installation or a geothermal to geothermal changeout, you can receive $1,000 back per ton.

Local HVAC Rebates in Chickasha & Duncan, OK

When you’re having a new HVAC system installed in the Chickasha or Duncan area, there are many local rebates you can take advantage of through your utility company, such as:

You can get over $500 for installing a new air conditioner or heat pump, and over $600 back for installing a geothermal system. There is even a rebate of $50 for installing an air purifier to improve indoor air quality. If you’re a PSO customer, make sure you check which rebates you might quality for.

If you’re a customer of the Oklahoma Electric Cooperative and install a new heat pump or geothermal heat pump, you can receive rebates on your new HVAC installation.

Installing a geothermal system qualifies you for rebates from the CKenergy Electric Cooperative.

Get up to $400 when you install a new high-efficiency furnace, among other rebates.

With Cotton Electric, you can receive upwards of $1,050 based on the HVAC system you have installed.

Take advantage of rebates of up to $5,400 for a new geothermal installation. You can also receive up to $2,500 for a geothermal retrofit and up to $1,000 for an air source heat pump installation.

REC members can get up to $1,050 per ton for a new geothermal or split system HVAC installation.

  • Duncan Power

Duncan Power provides rebates of up to $350 per ton for a new heat pump installation or up to $300 for a high-efficiency air conditioner installation.

As rebates from the utility companies are constantly being updated, it’s best to check with your energy provider to see exactly just how much you can get back for your HVAC installation. The DeHart team is also happy to help you track down exactly which incentives you may be able to use. The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority and Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency are also great resources to help you discover more savings.

It’s simple to get approval from the Service Finance Company, which has many financing solutions that are easily customizable to your needs.
